Samuel Snider - Odile Coat
The Odile Coat by Samuel Snider is crafted from a refined linen, wool, silk, and cashmere twill from Magee, Ireland. The fabric makes an ideal transitional layer—light enough for early spring days, yet substantial enough for cooler evenings and the first chill of early autumn.
This women’s style is based on a vintage work coat. Retaining the original shape, the designer has made thoughtful updates, including welt pockets at the hips and a secure interior pocket with a button tab for valuables.
The midnight blue twill has a soft depth and gentle structure, offering warmth without the weight of a full coat. Fully lined in the brand’s micro-pinstripe shirting fabric for a subtle interior detail and comfortable layering, it is finished with Italian horn buttons.

While we do our best to accurately represent colours, they may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
International Orders
We ship internationally with DHL.
Please note:
- We are unable to declare a lower value on parcels to reduce duties or taxes.
- Any import duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- If a parcel is refused or not collected, we will instruct DHL to destroy the shipment. In these cases, no refund will be issued.

Returns
Metta Melbourne (Australia only)
Online purchases of Metta Melbourne within Australia may be returned for a store credit or exchange if:
- The return is requested within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unworn, unwashed and in original condition
- All original tags are attached
Approved returns will receive a credit or exchange for the value of the item only (shipping is non-refundable).
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Shopify payment processing fees (2%) and any applicable taxes are non-refundable.
- A restocking fee of up to 20% of the RRP may apply.
- Store credits are valid for 6 months.
- One return is permitted per transaction.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with repeated return requests.
Due to Metta's garment dyeing process, colours may vary between dye lots. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric and is not considered a fault. If you're hoping to match two Metta pieces, we recommend visiting us in-store.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Sale or discounted items
- Items purchased in-store
- All brands other than Metta Melbourne
- International orders (including Metta Melbourne), unless the item is faulty
Faulty Items
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at info@scarletjones.com.au. We will assess your request in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, it will be sent back to you at your expense.
