Metta - Harriet Bloomers
Inspired by our always popular Harriet Bloomers (but with a little more length), the Harper Skirt features Victorian-style cotton lace detailing, an enclosed elasticated drawstring waist, and pockets. The Harper skirt is made from a light, soft and sheer cotton voile which feels beautiful on the skin. It is a lovely piece to layer over our Imogen and Camille Slips or under skirts and dresses.
The elastic waist is comfortable and fits a variety of sizes (please check the measurements against your own to ensure the right fit). It also features an enclosed drawstring that offers extra styling options.
Some minor white stitching may be visible on the over-dyes. The enclosed drawstrings may also feature small areas of white stitching.
100% Cotton.

While we do our best to accurately represent colours, they may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
International Orders
We ship internationally with DHL.
Please note:
- We are unable to declare a lower value on parcels to reduce duties or taxes.
- Any import duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- If a parcel is refused or not collected, we will instruct DHL to destroy the shipment. In these cases, no refund will be issued.

Returns
Metta Melbourne (Australia only)
Online purchases of Metta Melbourne within Australia may be returned for a store credit or exchange if:
- The return is requested within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unworn, unwashed and in original condition
- All original tags are attached
Approved returns will receive a credit or exchange for the value of the item only (shipping is non-refundable).
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Shopify payment processing fees (2%) and any applicable taxes are non-refundable.
- A restocking fee of up to 20% of the RRP may apply.
- Store credits are valid for 6 months.
- One return is permitted per transaction.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with repeated return requests.
Due to Metta's garment dyeing process, colours may vary between dye lots. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric and is not considered a fault. If you're hoping to match two Metta pieces, we recommend visiting us in-store.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Sale or discounted items
- Items purchased in-store
- All brands other than Metta Melbourne
- International orders (including Metta Melbourne), unless the item is faulty
Faulty Items
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at info@scarletjones.com.au. We will assess your request in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, it will be sent back to you at your expense.
