Before You Order

Please check the garment measurements listed in each product description before placing your order. These measurements are of the garment itself, not body measurements.

If you're unsure about sizing, we're happy to help. Please email us at info@scarletjones.com.au. We recommend measuring a similar garment you already own and comparing it with the measurements provided.

While we do our best to accurately represent colours, they may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.

International Orders

We ship internationally with DHL.

Please note:

• We are unable to declare a lower value on parcels to reduce duties or taxes.
  
• Any import duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  
• If a parcel is refused or not collected, we will instruct DHL to destroy the shipment. In these cases, no refund will be issued.

Returns

Metta Melbourne (Australia only)

Online purchases of Metta Melbourne within Australia may be returned for a store credit or exchange if:

• The return is requested within 7 days of delivery
  
• The item is unworn, unwashed and in original condition
  
• All original tags are attached
  

Approved returns will receive a credit or exchange for the value of the item only (shipping is non-refundable).

Please note:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  
• Shopify payment processing fees (2%) and any applicable taxes are non-refundable.
  
• A restocking fee of up to 20% of the RRP may apply.
  
• Store credits are valid for 6 months.
  
• One return is permitted per transaction.
  
• We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with repeated return requests.
  

Due to Metta's garment dyeing process, colours may vary between dye lots. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric and is not considered a fault. If you're hoping to match two Metta pieces, we recommend visiting us in-store.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

• Sale or discounted items
  
• Items purchased in-store
  
• All brands other than Metta Melbourne
  
• International orders (including Metta Melbourne), unless the item is faulty
  

Faulty Items

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at info@scarletjones.com.au. We will assess your request in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, it will be sent back to you at your expense.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email info@scarletjones.com.au with your order number, the item you'd like to return, and whether you would prefer an exchange or store credit. We're always happy to help.

Shipping

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days of being placed. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, where you can choose your preferred delivery option.

Australian Orders

We ship within Australia via Australia Post, with the option of Regular Post or Express Post at checkout. You can also choose Click & Collect if you'd prefer to pick up your order in-store.

We offer free Regular Post on all Australian orders over $400, including signature on delivery.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. If you don't receive it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Once your parcel has left our store, we are unable to take responsibility for delays, lost or stolen packages. We recommend using a secure delivery address and tracking your parcel throughout its journey.

International Orders

International orders are shipped with DHL Express.

Please note:

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
  
• Import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included in your order and are the responsibility of the customer.
  
• As these charges vary by country, we recommend checking your local import regulations before placing your order.
  
• We cannot accept returns due to customs duties or import taxes.
  

If your address is classified as a remote area by DHL, an additional AUD $35 shipping fee may apply. If this is the case, we'll contact you before shipping your order.

Once your parcel has been dispatched, we are not responsible for delays, lost or stolen packages. We recommend selecting a secure delivery address and monitoring your tracking information.

USA Customers

From 29 August 2025, the United States introduced tariffs on all imported goods, regardless of value.

As Scarlet Jones stocks designers from around the world, the tariff payable will depend on the country of origin of each item. This information is listed on every product page.

Your order may also incur:

• A DHL processing fee of USD $17 per shipment (or 2% of the fiscal charges, whichever is applicable).
  
• A possible US Government processing fee, currently estimated at USD $10 per order (subject to confirmation).
  

These charges are collected by DHL before your parcel is released by US Customs.

If you choose not to pay these charges, your parcel will be returned to us. In this case, we'll refund your order less shipping and any associated costs.
