This item is made with silk cotton material.
Please avoid getting wet as it may lose its sheen and colour, cause shrinking or stain.Pat to dry when necessary, do not rub. It may come apart at the seams when tugged or pulled violently. Dry cleaning is recommended. This item was reinforced during the sewing process, however it is delicate so please handle it with care as fabric may snag or tear when tugged or pulled.
When wearing, please be carefulwith frictionand avoid being snagged by bags or rough surfaces. Also when laundering, please be careful that the item is not snagged by other goods.
This item has a raw hem, it may fray further. The item may lose and transfer its colour.
Please handle with care when friction is a applied., as the dark friction colour may transfer white - light coloured clothes, bags and accessories.
Please wipe with dry fabric immediately when the clothes get wet by rain or sweat. It will become easy to stain when it's left damp.

While we do our best to accurately represent colours, they may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
International Orders
We ship internationally with DHL Express, except to New Zealand, where orders are shipped via Australia Post.
Please note:
- We are unable to declare a lower value on parcels to reduce duties or taxes.
- Any import duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- If a parcel is refused or not collected, we will instruct DHL to destroy the shipment. In these cases, no refund will be issued.

Returns
Metta Melbourne (Australia only)
Online purchases of Metta Melbourne within Australia may be returned for a store credit or exchange if:
- The return is requested within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unworn, unwashed and in original condition
- All original tags are attached
Approved returns will receive a credit or exchange for the value of the item only (shipping is non-refundable).
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Shopify payment processing fees (2%) and any applicable taxes are non-refundable.
- A restocking fee of up to 20% of the RRP may apply.
- Store credits are valid for 6 months.
- One return is permitted per transaction.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with repeated return requests.
Due to Metta's garment dyeing process, colours may vary between dye lots. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric and is not considered a fault. If you're hoping to match two Metta pieces, we recommend visiting us in-store.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Sale or discounted items
- Items purchased in-store
- All brands other than Metta Melbourne
- International orders (including Metta Melbourne), unless the item is faulty
Faulty Items
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible at info@scarletjones.com.au. We will assess your request in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, it will be sent back to you at your expense.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, please email info@scarletjones.com.au with your order number, the item you'd like to return, and whether you would prefer an exchange or store credit. We're always happy to help.
- Free Regular shipping on full-price orders over AUD $400 within Australia.
- Free Regular shipping on full-price orders over AUD $850 to New Zealand.
- Free DHL Express shipping on full-price orders over AUD $850 to the rest of the world.
