Metta SS25/26 - The Florists Reverie

 

We’re delighted to introduce Metta Melbourne’s Spring Summer 25/26 collection, The Florist’s Reverie. This collection celebrates antique prints and vintage hues, beautifully complementing Metta’s signature textured linens and soft cottons. Flowing silhouettes and dreamy fabrics make it the perfect collection for summer layering, while delicate floral prints weave the pieces together with a sense of poetry.

The Florist’s Reverie collection reimagines beloved Metta silhouettes in delicate floral prints, each poetically inspired by antique textiles and artworks. Hand screen-printed throughout the collection, these designs feature patterns such as the Ginza and Bouquet prints. The Ginza print, in particular, draws from a beautiful antique fabric discovered in a market in Japan, with the gentle fading of the original print carefully carried into the final design to capture the character and patina of the vintage piece.
