SAGE DE CRET was founded in 2001 in Japan, bringing to life designer Kimitoshi Chida’s desire to create tasteful pieces for everyday wear based on utilitarian and military garments.
The brands name is a combination of the two French words “sage” and “decret”, meaning sensible and decree. It's clear that these these two concepts describe the the collection perfectly.
Various dyes and fabric choices play an important role in each collection, resulting in rich and timeless pieces that create a tailored experience built to last.
The design of each garment shows that much thought has been put into the smallest of details. With inspiration coming from military and traditional workwear, each piece is functional, hard wearing and made to last.
