Metta - Faye Dress - Seersucker Stripe
Now available in a limited run, the Faye Dress in a Japanese seersucker fabric features subtle gathering, drop shoulder sleeves and our Metta Melbourne design staple - pockets. The Japanese woven seersucker fabric is made from natural fibres and variation can sometimes be found, adding to the character of the garment.
A beautiful addition to your year-round wardrobe, style over warm winter layers and wear with boots or in summer simply with sandals or sneakers.
The Dark Grey Stripe is a slightly heavier fabric made from 58% cotton and 42% linen, whereas the Light Grey Stripe is 100% Cotton.
The word Seersucker originates from the Hindustani words شیر shîr and شکر shakar, which translate to "milk and sugar", from the resemblance of its smooth and rough stripes to the smooth texture of milk and the bumpy texture of sugar, respectively.
